United Methodist Men

Like the women of our congregation, the men also serve as Christ's hands and feet in our community.

During "season," which is usually September thru April (depending upon where Easter falls), the men hold monthly Pancake Breakfasts on the third Saturday. Our men are also a critical component in the organization and implementation of the Manatee County CROP Walk each year.

With the funds they raise, the UMM invest in our community by sending devotionals overseas to our military personnel and contributing generously to the Jim Russo Prison Ministries and the United Methodist Children's Home in Enterprise, Florida.

The UMM meet weekly on Thursday mornings at Popi's Too in downtown Palmetto. Meeting time is 6:30am over breakfast with fellowship and devotionals. All men are welcome to join.
NOTE: No meetings during the summer (June/July/August).
SHAPING TODAY'S YOUTH

Our UMM work side by side with our church's Boy Scout Troop #72 to sponsor and prepare our pancake breakfasts and spaghetti dinners.

A portion of the proceeds from these events go to the scouts, allowing them to provide leadership and learning opportunities for their members.
