Focus Scripture: 2 Corinthians 8: 10 - 12
This has certainly been an adventure over the past 7 months. Writing these have consequently challenged me in a good way. I thank God for this Covenant group and how His Holy Spirit has been evident in our discussions and fellowship.
I am afraid that this week’s entry will not be extremely long and – yet – it is. Our focus this week is “willingly”. So, I choose to reflect on our time together and urge you to reflect, as well. Yes, this group is a testimony of ‘willingly’ and I thank Him for you, as we willingly coming together (as we are able.) Together, we have journeyed and grown through this time, in ways that are beyond words.
We started our time together discussing ‘comfort’ and ‘trials’. We have gained insight into ‘The Treasure’, been ‘transformed’ and ‘reconciled’. Lately, we received ‘encouragement’, through ‘generosity’, ‘enthusiasm’ and ‘transformed giving.’
We still have a little more than five chapters of 2 Corinthians to go through in about 20 weeks time. I, God willing, will complete this according to what He has so richly given me. I know that this will be going through the summer months and maybe everyone will not be able to attend. I understand and that is why He gave us this group and this format. Thank you.
